Wendy Brant, Senior Director, Environmental, Health and Safety Compliance; Wal-Mart Stores Inc.
Wendy Brant is a Senior Director with Walmart's International Compliance Organization, recently accepting the role of the International Environmental Subject Matter Expert. Walmart employs approximately 2.3 million associates to operate over 11,700 retail units under 59 banners in 28 countries around the world.& Wendy joined Walmart in 2015 and previously managed Walmart's U.S. Hazardous Waste Minimization Team. The team's responsibilities include: ensuring transportation and disposal compliance information by UPC, design of the retail hazardous waste program, interacting with state and federal agencies and managing federal agreements. Prior to Walmart, Wendy was with CVS Health for 6 years where she focused on retail environmental compliance, developing and implementing environmental compliance solutions that were scalable and sustainable across the CVS Health enterprise.
Before joining the retail sector, Wendy spent approximately 10 years in manufacturing and consulting where she managed programs and projects related to site investigation, remediation, and EH&S compliance.
Wendy received her Bachelor of Applied Science in Environmental Engineering from the University of Waterloo and her MBA from the Memorial University of Newfoundland.
