Tiffin Shewmake is the Executive Director of RILA’s Center for Retail Compliance (CRC). She is responsible for leading the development of the CRC with the goal of creating the leading resource for environmental compliance in the retail industry and to develop new tools to make compliance programs more effective and cost efficient.

Tiffin’s career has focused on environmental compliance and sustainability including the use of management tools and performance measures to improve outcomes. She has worked with federal agencies such as the National Park Service, Forest Service, Federal Emergency Management Agency and Bureau of Engraving and Printing to help teams identify environmental and sustainability challenges, and to set goals and performance measures. She has also worked with regulators on the development of strategies to improve compliance results in the regulated community. Tiffin has a BS in Biology from Syracuse University and a MS in Information Systems from George Mason University.
