Scot Frost, EHS Assurance Manager; UTC Aerospace Systems
Scot Frost is an Environmental, Health & Safety professional with over 30 years' experience working in the manufacturing sector for United Technologies Corporation's Aerospace Systems Division. UTC Aerospace Systems is one of the world's largest suppliers of technologically advanced aerospace and defense products used in commercial, regional, business and military aircraft, helicopters and other platforms.
Scot has worked most of his career in Windsor Locks, CT, initially at the site level managing environmental compliance and remediation programs; and for the past 20 years at the company's global level where he has managed programs in management systems, process improvement, M&A due diligence, work transfer, integration and compliance assurance. His current role involves directing UTC's EH&S Audit program for UTC Aerospace Systems which includes 110 manufacturing and service centers world-wide. Scot trains a large pool of internal auditors from most of these sites, and draws on their service, also using third-party consultants, to conduct approximately 40 EH&S audits a year.
Scot has a BS in Ecology from Barrington College (RI) and a MS in Resource Management & Administration from Antioch New England Graduate School (NH). He enjoys the Northeast outdoors with his wife and dog.
