Monica possesses 20+ years' environment, health and safety (EHS) experience solving complex business issues in diverse industries in developed, developing and emerging markets. Strategic, visionary, collaborative leader and consensus-builder for achieving business objectives; assuring EHS regulatory compliance; driving world class EHS performance and supporting sustainable business growth. Proven track record for developing and executing highly effective global EHS strategies to reduce occupational hazards and risks; prevent incidents; minimize the environmental impact from operations; improve operational efficiency; reduce business continuity risks; integrate EHS across the business value chain and leverage sustainability for maximum value creation.
She currently oversees EHS and sustainability for Comcast Cable's Freedom Region setting strategy and directing its implementation for nearly 6,000 employees serving 2.1 million customers across northern Delaware, Greater Philadelphia Area and New Jersey. She is also a member of the Comcast Corporate Sustainability Team; serves as Customer Experience Transformation Lead; Internet Essentials Ambassador; and past lead of the Freedom Region Veteran's Employee Resource Group. Prior to joining Comcast, Monica held roles of increasing responsibilities including the areas of EHS, sustainability, strategic planning, operational compliance, risk management and business continuity at GlaxoSmithKline, Eaton and Kellogg's.
Monica holds a BS degree in Chemical Engineering from Drexel University and an MS degree in Water Resources & Environmental Engineering from Villanova University.
