Larry Cuomo, Director EHS; Dean Foods Co.
Lawrence Cuomo is the Corporate Director of Environmental, Health and Safety for Dean Foods Company, Dallas, Texas. In this role Larry is responsible for the Environmental, Health and Safety for Operations and Logistic for over 55 Dairy locations within the Dean Foods North Zone. Larry is also the Co-Author of the Dean foods Behavioral Safety Program called “SafetyLife."
Larry is also on the Board of Regents for the National Association of EHS Management. (NAEM).
Prior to his role at Dean Foods, Larry was the Director of Risk Management & Environmental, Health & Safety for Suiza Dairy, Dallas Texas. In this role Larry provided leadership to over 35 manufacturing and logistic locations across the north and south of the United States. Larry implemented Behavioral Safety and Lean Management programs which resulted in a 25% reductions in accidents and over a 5 million saving in workers compensation costs.
Larry has over 30 years' experience as an Environmental, Health and Safety, and Risk Management Professional and holds a Master's Degree in Psychology, and a Degree in Business Management.
Larry has also been certified in Six Sigma and has been trained in Lean Management.
