Greg Blount is a senior partner in the Environmental and Natural Resources practice at Troutman Sanders LLP. He has worked with environmental compliance and policy issues for over 35 years, beginning as a state Assistant Attorney General and then general counsel for Georgia’s Department of Natural Resources. Greg’s litigation and compliance experience includes work for retail chains, including pharmacies, on retail and pharmaceutical hazardous waste issues regarding RCRA enforcement in bellwether states like California, Connecticut, Florida, and New York. He has worked on policy reform at state and federal levels in collaboration with trade associations, particularly in California and before U.S. EPA.
