David Williams, Director, Environment and Sustainability; Teva Pharmaceuticals Industries Ltd.

David's specialty is helping businesses meet today's challenges while doing the right things to be better tomorrow. He combines his environment, health and safety (EHS) leadership experience with expertise in Operational Excellence and information technology to deliver lasting value and change. David is skilled in utilizing Agile, Lean, Six Sigma and Management Systems as powerful approaches to guide the problem-solving process.
In his current role as the Director of Environment and Sustainability for Teva Pharmaceuticals, David has global responsibility for program and project management across a network of over 85 operating locations. Currently, his focus is on leading global programs for wastewater, pharmaceuticals in the environment and regulatory compliance management.
David is a member of the NAEM Board of Directors. He has participted on the NAEM EHS Forum annual planning committee the past three years.
Outside of work David enjoys spending time with his wife, two grown daughters and their dog, a Havanese. He is a motorcycling and alpine skiing enthusiast and when not out on two wheels or sliding down a mountain he can be found on a small stream fly-fishing for trout.
